Norton Park
Norton Park opened in 1998 after being purchased by the Albion Trust and redeveloped to provide high quality, affordable office accommodation for the voluntary sector, mainly social welfare charities, in Edinburgh.
Conversion provided 30,000 square feet of office space over 3 floors and today Norton Park houses 22 charities that collectively employ over 350 staff and accommodate a stream of around 2000 visitors per month.
This has enabled not only the sharing of experiences and resources between the different charities, helping to foster a synergy of approach and action but also increased social, environmental and community benefits in the area.
Norton Park is governed by a Board of Trustees who meet every 4 weeks and managed by a Development Manager on a day-to-day basis.
