The Future

Norton Park Training & Conference Centre

Adjacent to Norton Park are the Lockhart church buildings, which have been vacant since 1987 and which have been integrated and redeveloped as an extension to Norton Park. The church hall (St Mungos’) was built in the late 1890’s, in conjunction with Norton Park, with the addition of the Lockhart Church built nearly a quarter of a century later in 1925. The building originally belonged to the Church of Scotland and had a congregation until 1987 when it dissolved.

Our goal is “To create the opportunity for voluntary sector organisations across Scotland to access state of the art affordable facilities”

We have achieved our aim by:

  • Refurbishing the former Lockhart church to create six fully accessible meeting rooms
  • Refurbishing the St Mungo Hall to provide an affordable, modern and professional Conference Suite
