Mission

To enable our client groups to become more effective by providing them with facilities which improve the quality and efficiency of their operation.

Aims

  • The advancement of the education of the public in Scotland generally and in particular the advancement of the education of persons with special needs in Scotland
  • The relief of poverty in Scotland generally and for other purposes beneficial to the community not falling under other heads of charity.
  • The provision and improvement of any library, museum, gallery, public hall (or another building), recreation ground or great park for the benefit of the community.
  • The preservation and conservation of sites, buildings or lands of architectural merit, historic importance or natural beauty for the benefit of the community.
  • The preservation and protection of the environment. For the public benefit by seeking to reduce waste and land-fill through the refurbishment, repair and recycling of furniture and equipment which would otherwise be disposed of. Where possible such refurbishment will be carried out as a job creation scheme.
  • The furtherance of the charitable purposes of other recognised/ registered charitable organisations by acting as a resource in the provision of facilities, management or other services for which agreed charges will be made.
